O’ father, how you have sinned You have sinned so violently O’ master, how you are cruel I your marionette, the fool I will not forgive what you have done I won’t allow your redemption I will not live on my knees for your salvation Your fall from grace I say to you: O’ father, how you have sinned You have sinned so violently O’ master, how you are cruel I your marionette, the fool The joy from our pain is your sick relief Eternal suffering release me, I’m begging you please Let me stand on my own and I will make the call Whether I will hold you up, or watch you fall I will not forgive what you have done I will never accept your salvation I will not forget what you’ve done I won’t allow your redemption You are all knowing, all loving, and all good All knowing, all loving, all good Heavenly executioner hidden by the hood The hood conceals the terror of your truth And the truth is: You are the lying tongue The hand that shed our innocent blood Divine abomination Oh God. I will not forgive what you have done I will never accept your salvation I will not forget what you’ve done I won’t allow your redemption The illusion is that we are free O’ father, how you have sinned You have sinned so violently O’ master, how you are cruel I your marionette, the fool

I've felt the pop of the needle sliding into my veins like a fang into flesh. I've been enveloped in the golden haze where nothing is wrong even when all is falling apart. My dance with a hypodermic fiend, my hands in the claws of a vulture. Heat washes over me, and wraps me in her familiar grasp The embrace, I beg to be held tighter, hold me until I’m numb For a sweet moment I fight, as it tightens its grip It works its way through my blood, the rush of the hit You gave me wings, but you took away the sky You gave me wings, This is what it feels like to die I've felt the pop of the needle sliding into my veins like a fang into flesh. I've been enveloped in the golden haze where nothing is wrong my hands in the claws of a vulture. Looking toward the chemical pulpit for answers Through its deception, I’m shown the truth And though it ignites a fire inside of my head I’ve fallen for the ruse Heat washes over me, and wraps me in her familiar grasp The embrace, I beg to be held tighter, hold me until I’m numb For a sweet moment I fight, as it tightens its grip It works its way through my blood, the rush of the hit You gave me wings, but you took away the sky You gave me wings, This is what it feels like to die This is what it feels like to die Usurper of my rational decisions, my body shudders You are my warm blanket in the dead of night The concoction reaches its hand out to me And the needle grins at my dependency Through its deception, I’m shown the truth Through its deception, I’m shown the truth RELAPSE Heat washes over me, and wraps me in her familiar grasp The embrace, I beg to be held tighter, hold me until I’m numb For a sweet moment I fight, as it tightens its grip It works its way through my blood, the rush of the hit You gave me wings, but you took away the sky You gave me wings, This is what it feels like to die
